Brachylaena rotundata is a very hardy, medium sized, drought resistant, evergreen to semi-deciduous tree or shrub. The attractive silver-grey foliage gets reddish tinges in autumn and yellow thistle-like flowers appear from August to September (the male and female flowers are on separate trees).
