Plant Description

Buddleja loricata, the mountain sage, is either a multi-stemmed, densely bushy shrub or small tree. It has a pale brown bark and the wrinkly, narrow leaves that are medium to dark green above, much paler below and have rusty hairs. The small flowers are sweetly scented and the fruits split to release very fine, dust-like seeds.
