Chlorophytum cooperii  is a grass-like perennial that grows singly amongst the grasses and is only conspicuous when in flower in spring when the white flowers protrude above the grasses.

It has very few natural enemies and works well in a garden if interplanted with small grasses.

Chlorophytum cooperii grows from seed but does not self seed readily.
