Plant Description

Clivia caulescens is a strong grower and will attract birds to the garden. It produces rhizomes which tend to sucker and in time, grows into a large plant. It is the only Clivia that would eventually form stems. The leaves are dark green. The inflorescence consists of 15-20 orange to cream-coloured, pendulous flowers.

Plant Clivia caulescens in a humus-rich soil. In nature it quite often grows under trees where humus accumulates.
