Plant Description

Combretum molle  has very attractive young leaves with light pink or orange colours. The leaves are very velvety. It has grey bark when still young and this becomes grey-brown or almost black when older.The flowers are in dense axillary spikes with greenish yellow colour, strongly scented and attractive to bees and other insects.

Combretum molle is a very hardy tree and a good garden subject. The velvety leaves give it a very soft appearance.
