Combretum mossambicense

by Johan Wentzel

Common Name
Knobbly Climbing Bushwillow
Plant Type
Climber
Plant Description

Combretum mossambicense is a scrambling shrub and can form a dense thicket; sometimes it is a small tree.

The showy, white flowers are scented and very conspicuous.

Combretum mossambicense is included in this list due to the fact that we have few indigenous scramblers that can be used in gardens. It will need a protected spot.
