Cotyledon barbeyi is a many stemmed, erect to leaning succulent shrub that can reach heights of up to 3m tall. It is an ideal specimen for a rockery or mixed succulent garden bed.
Plant Description

Cotyledon barbeyi is a many stemmed, erect to leaning succulent shrub that can reach heights of up to 3m tall. The lowest part of each stem is usually without leaves and are about as thick as an adult finger. The upper part of each stem has thick succulent leaves that are most commonly oval in shape. The inflorescence are borne throughout Autumn and winter are rather tall and loosely flowered with ruby red flowers.

Cotyledon barbeyi can vary from shady bushveld clumps in nature to more exposed rocky outcrops so can both grow in shade and sun. It is an ideal specimen for a rockery or mixed succulent garden bed.
