Plant Description

Crinum lugardiae is a hardy, deciduous bulb with grey-green, long, narrow leaves and beautiful white flowers that attract butterflies and hawk moths in the evening. Birds also enjoy the fruits. The curly leaves of the flowers are very distinctive. It is a rare plant, being mainly confined to the Pretoria / Magaliesburg region. Grows in full sun.
