Delosperma purpureum is very hardy and well adapted to harsh conditions. It forms a lovely groundcover in semi shade.
Plant Description

Delosperma purpureum occurs in fair numbers in small crevices on the upper parts of the south facing cliffs of the Magaliesberg. It also occurs in the Suikerbosrand near Heidelberg.

The specie is very floriferous and can withstand harsh conditions. It spreads well and will cover an area in semi shade fairly quickly.

Delosperma purpureum is very hardy and drought tolerant.
