Diascia vigilis is an erect, semi-deciduous perennial herb that can grow up to 0.5m tall. The leaves form a mat and are light green in colour and can be slightly hairy. Diascia vigilis' flowers borne in summer between December and April are a lovely pale/salmon pink. They are arranged on an elongated unbranched stem/axis/raceme and has a dark yellow and maroon centre.
Diascia vigilis attracts bees to the garden and is an ideal specimen for hanging baskets, containers, mixed borders, filler plants, rockeries or pots. It prefers full sun but can tolerate semi-shade conditions.
