Diclis reptans is a sprawling mat forming perennial herb that reaches a height of up to 200mm tall. It is often found in damp, shady, rocky places. It has reddish hairy stems with erect tips, the leaves are about 30x35mm large with long stalks, deep margins and sharply toothed. The flowers borne in summer between September and May are white to pale mauve, they are solitary and about 10mm large. Diclis reptans is edible.
Diclis reptans is a lovely specimen for a mixed border or raised beds and does well in containers or pots in a shady position.
