Geigeria burkei is an erect perennial herb, up to 40 cm tall. The stems could be simple or branched, purplish and the leaves narrow and slightly toothed, often rolled under. It bears bright yellow daisy-like flowers. The flowerheads are stalkless.
The delicate leaf structure and open nature of this perennial makes it a good companion plant that brings in some variety, especially if interplanted with smaller grasses. It is equally happy on a rockery.
