Geranium schlechteri is a small fragrant, straggling perennial herb that can grow up to 1.2m. The stems are about 1m tall, loosely branched and is covered with long silvery hairs. The leaves are 60mm large in diameter, 5 lobed, the lobed are sparsely toothed and thinly hairy above with long spreading hairs below. Geranium schlecteri's flowers are white fading pink or white veined pink with petals about 13x4mm large borne on stalks about 10-40mm, the flowers are borne between October to April.
Geranium schlechteri is a lovely small shrub for a mixed shrubbery or to be planted in containers. The lovely large flowers attract butterflies to the garden and the shrub can become quite robust and scrambling.
