It has showy, bright red, bell-shaped flowers in lax, few-flowered, downward-pointing racemes t. The nectar-rich flowers attract many insects such as honeybees, as well as pollinators like sunbirds.

Greyia flanaganii is well suited to small gardens and prefers a well-drained soil. Do not overwater.
