Greyia sutherlandii is a rugged looking shrub or small tree with attractive round leaves and masses of magnificent, brilliant red flowers. The flowers are rich in nectar, which attracts sunbirds to the garden. The leaves turn a lovely red in autumn.
Greyia sutherlandii is for a sunny or semi-shade position and requires well-drained soil. Thrives in rocky soils. Keep on the dry side.
