Haemanthus humilus is normally found growing in rock fissures in the Grasslands at high altitudes. When in flower it is quite spectacular. Plant in semi-shade.
Plant Description

Haemanthus humilus is normally found growing in rock fissures in the Grasslands at high altitudes. Leaves can be smooth or hairy. When in flower (pink or white) it is quite spectacular. The flowers are followed by red berries that is a great favourite with birds. It is a good container plant.

Plant Haemanthus humilus in a shady spot in the garden where it cannot be overgrown by other plants. The best is on a rockery on the southern slope.
