Helichrysum sessilioides is a small perennial shrub that grows up to 0.3m. It is a much branchedperennial that forms a compact, rounded dwarf shrub with woody stems and leafy branches. The greyish-green leaves are about 4-15x4-15mm large with a silvery green upper surface and a white, velvety surface below. Helichrysum sessilioides bears masses of white daisy-like flowers during summer between August and March. They have white ray florets with yellow disc florets. The ray florets can range in colour from white to pale brown, light pink or red.
Helichrysum sessilioides can spread up to 1m wide and is ideal for a flowering specimen in a rockery or mixed border in a sunny position.
