Hermannia lancifolia  1s a small perennial herb with stems arising from a slender rootstock. The sword-shaped leaves are hairy and sharply toothed in the upper half.Yellow, nodding flowers are borne on long stalks. Flowering time is from Septemeber to February.

Hermannia lancifolia is a small, unusual plant ideal for a small rockery. Interplant with small grasses or other non-spreading, small perennials. Keep on the dry side.
