Hirpicium armerioides is a low growing, mat forming perennial herb that reaches heights up to 250mm and does well in poor, stony soils.
This is a lovely specimen to plant in a rockery or exposed sunny position in the garden, it also does well in pots and containers or raised garden beds.
Plant Description

Hirpicium armerioides is a low growing, mat forming perennial herb that reaches heights up to 250mm and does well in poor, stony soils. The leaves form a basal rosette and are usually 100x4mm large and are often covered in long white hairs and felted beneath. The flowers are solitary with white ray florets and yellow disc florets about 25-50mm large and the ray florets can be yellow to purplish black below.

Hirpicium armerioides is a lovely specimen to plant in a rockery or exposed sunny position in the garden, it also does well in pots and containers or raised garden beds.
