Flowers terminal, solitary or in lax heads, yellow to pale orange with red markings, the petals rolling up in the heat of the day. Fruit a small capsule.
Plant Hypericum lalandii in a wet spot in the garden amongst small sedges that will not smother it. It is very floriferous.
