Kleinia galpinii, a succulent shrublet, has oval- to spoon-shaped grey-green leaves which are attached to brittle stems which creep along the ground. The leaves have a smooth margin. It bears several, small orange flowers on long flowering stems in a tight head-shaped inflorescence. Flowering time is quite long - January to August.
Plant in well-drained soil in full sun or light shade.
Kleinia galpinii is ideal for a Bushveld garden or a rockery. The flowers attract insects to the garden.
