Moraea spathulata is a bulbous perennial that can reach heights up to 900mm tall. The dark green leaves are solitary, flat above and twisted and can reach sizes of up to 2mx15mmn large.The flowers borne during late winter in the South and during summer in the North are a bright yellow. Moraea spathulata is a hardy garden plant ideal for a mixed border or raised garden beds and makes for a lovely feature in a rockery.
Moraea spathulata's flowers last about 3 days but mass planted it will ensure a lovely colourful display throughout the season.
