Pavonia praemorsa is a small, relatively fast growing shrub, with slender, tough stems, sometimes purplish in colour, that can reach a height of beween 1-2m. The flowers attract bees, butterflies and other insects, which in turn will attract many birds to the garden.It is ideal as a decorative garden plant.
Plant Description

Pavonia praemorsa is a small, relatively fast growing shrub, with slender, tough stems, sometimes purplish in colour, that can reach a height of beween 1-2m. The leaves are roughly textured, leathery and shiny and paler below. Year-round, pretty lemon-yellow hibiscus-like flowers are borne on slender stalks, they are especially dominant in Spring and Autumn. Each flower lasts only one day.

The flowers of Pavonia praemorsa attract bees, butterflies and other insects, which in turn will attract many birds to the garden.It is ideal as a decorative garden plant. It is low maintenance and drought tolerant and blossoms year round.
