Rhamnus prinoides  has shiny, dark green leaves and that make  a very attractive shrub. The small yellow flowers occur all year round. The black berries provide food for fruit eating birds and the flowers attract insects making this a must for any bird garden.

Plant Rhamnus prinoides in semi-shade or in full sun in the cooler regions. Prune back if it becomes untidy.
