Plant Description

Salix wilmsii is a shrub or small tree that grows between 2-3m tall. It has droopy branches with narrow leaves that are covered below with a dense grey silky layer, they are a yellowish-green colour and silvery below. The flowers are tiny and borne on short spikes during summer and autumn.

Salix wilmsii is a lovely water loving species often found along rivers and streams.
