Plant Description

Satureja compacta (new name Killickia compacta) is a small perennial herb that grows up to 0.3m tall. It is a semi-woody perennial with thyme-like leaves with a strong pleasant lemony scent bearing masses of white to light pink coloured flowers during summer.

Satureja biflora has a very limited distribution list but is worth searching for. It is probably edible.

Satureja biflora is ideal for a sunny spot in a mixed border or container and prefers a cool climate.
