Searsia erosa is usually more a shrub than a tree, with a sprawling habit. The leaves are very fine (hence the common name) and it gives a delicate look to this shrub.
Small, white or greenish yellow flowers, are borne in loose, slender sprays and appear in early summer from October to December. They are followed by yellowish, sometimes light brown, hairless and shiny fruits (drupes) from January to April.
Plant Searsia erosa in a well-drained soil in full sun and do not overwater.
