Searsia rigida is a smallish shrub reaching a height of up to 1.5m tall. It bears tiny yellow flowers during spring and summer.
Plant Description

Searsia rigida is a smallish shrub reaching a height of up to 1.5m. Its bright green leaves are hairless or sparsely covered with hairs and folded upward along the midrib, the margin is sometimes wavy. The flowers are tiny greenish, yellow and borne in axillary panicles.

Searsia rigida is ideal on a rockery as a small feature shrub with its bright green foliage attracting small pollinating insects as well as fruit-eating birds. It is a very neat little shrub.
