Plant Description

Syncolostemon transvaalensis is a decorative, pleasantly aromatic shrub (with angular stems) which is  multi-stemmed and long-lived.  The leaves and stems are pleasantly aromatic and leave a slightly sticky residue on the fingers when touched.The showy, multi-shaded purple and pink inflorescences are borne in profusion during spring and early summer.

The profusion of colour and the ease of growth  makes Syncolostemon transvaalensis a worthwhile shrub to consider when space  is limited.
