Zantedeschia jucunda is endemic to the mountains of Sekhukuneland, where it is mostly found amongst rocky outcrops. This temperate region is well known for its diversity of flora.
Colour varies from a pale yellow to a very dark yellow. Leaves are much bigger than its cousin, Z. pentlandii and the plant is more robust. Keep dry in winter.
Bulbs are contractile so put a small stone below the bulb before you plant it.
