Diospyros scabrida is an evergreen shrub or small tree, that can reach a height of up to 2–3m tall. It is a good hedge plant and is ideal for a screen. 
Plant Description

Diospyros scabrida is an evergreen shrub or small tree, that can reach a height of up to  2–3m. Single or multi-stemmed, the bark is smooth with an ash white to dark grey colour. It is a neat, compact shrub with dense, glossy dark-green foliage is one of its’ best features. The leaves are leathery with dense hairs below, red when young and deepening to a rich dark green when mature. White to cream, sweetly scented flowers appear between November and April followed by red fruit.

Diospyros scabrida is hardy and waterwise and will attract insects and birds to your garden. It is a good hedge plant and is ideal for a screen.
