Plant Description

Adhatoda (Duvernoia) andromeda is a perennial herb that can reach heights of between 60-400mm tall. It has a woody rootstock and the stems have short stiff heirs. The flowers are dense terminal inflorescence of about 30mm in diameter, white with red markings. The flowers are borne between September and February. The shape of the flower is very unusual. This plant is ideal for container planting or a mixed border.
