Plant Description

Afrocarpus falcatus, when mature has beautiful, dark purplish-brown and flaking bark that flakes off in circular pieces. The female cones develop into yellow fleshy fruits that take a year to ripen. Birds, bats and monkeys are attracted to the fruit. This decorative tree grows fairly quickly in garden conditions.

Afrocarpus falcatus is only suitable for large gardens or parks.
