Aloe mutabilis is a large evergreen aloe that reaches a height up to 1m. This is an ideal specimen for rockeries in a sunny garden attracting birds and insects and acting as an ornamental feature.
Plant Description

Aloe mutabilis is a large evergreen aloe that reaches a height up to 1m tall. It forms a tall, trailing stem that reaches up to 1m with offshoots of rosettes of leaves about 600-700mm long. The leaves are pale green on top with brownish to yellow margins with yellowish, orange teeth. During Winter a simple branched inflorescence is borne with bi-coloured flowers, they are red buds turning yellow when mature. Sometimes the entire inflorescence is red.
