Plant Description

Aloe verecunda is a well known grass aloe that is commonly found along rocky ridges of the Witwatersrand. The plants form dense clumps. The narrow fleshy leaves usually form a fan-shape and may occasionally form a rosette in older specimens. The plant has thick fleshy roots in which it stores water during the dry winter months. Plant in very well drained soil in a sunny spot.
