Plant Description

Ammocharis coranica is a  beautiful bulb that prefers a sunny position and well drained soil. It has large, sweetly scented, glossy, pink umbels of flowers. It will do well in a succulent garden. Keep dry in winter and do not overwater. Beware of the amaryllis worm.

Ammocharis coranica is a slow grower and mature bulbs can be as much as 50 years old.
