Plant Description

Aptenia cordiifolia is a hardy, evergreen, groundcover that is fast growing with a spreading growth habit. It has light green, semi-succulent leaves and small, dark, rose-coloured, vygie-like flowers from September to July.

Aptenia cordiifolia grows well in either sun or shade and is useful for stabilising banks. An easy groundcover, particularly in shady areas.
