Asparagus densiflorus ‘Flagstaff’

The "Flagstaff" Asparagus forms long, arching branches that can grow up to a length of 1 m and the plant can reach a height of up to 60 cm.
Plant Description

Asparagus densiflorus is a soft textured groundcover with arching stems that bear tiny , bright evergreen leaves. It is a fast growing groundcover that grows best in semi-shade areas. They are drought and frost resistant. It flowers between November to April with tiny star-like white flowers followed by tiny red berries in January to May. The berries attract birds. This is a beautiful plant that can be used in the garden around a pond in mixed borders or in mass planting as a groundcover. It does well in a container, in a rockery or on a retaining wall. The flowers attracts bees and butterflies.
