Plant Description

Asparagus plumosus is an evergreen scrambler that is normally found in the shade of trees. The lovely light green leaves resemble that of a fern and has a delicate appearance. The small white flowers, normally borne at the tips of the stems, are followed by red berries that are relished by birds. It does not possess thorns and is ideal to use in a flower arrangement.

The asparagus fern is not very dense or aggressive and lends a soft touch when climbing up a tree.
