Plant Description

Barleria gueinzii is an unarmed, much-branched, evergreen, scrambling shrub with egg-shaped, greyish olive-green leaves and mauve-blue flowers. This shrub grows fairly fast to a height of about 1-2 m.

Barleria gueinzii is ideal for a sunny spot in the garden or to control erosion on embankments. It should be planted in a protected spot where frost is severe. Trim back in late winter.
