Brunsvigia grandiflora, known as the Giant Candelabra, is really a "must see" in the wild. The inflorescence can easily reach a height of one metre with a diameter of 80cm.

It prefers a wet, sunny spot amongst grasses and should not be disturbed once it has settled.

Brunsvigia grandiflora is a very slow grower and makes a good container plant. Keep it dry in winter.
