Plant Description

Bulbine frutescens should be planted in full sun or light shade in well-drained soil. Planted en masse they make a lovely show. They can also be used to help stabilise banks. The juice of the leaves has excellent healing properties and is ideal for relieving stings, burns and rashes.

They can form a very dense stand and must be renewed on a regular basis. Do not over water.

Bulbine frutescens can also be utilised as a groundcover.
