Cephalaria zeyheriana, a charming perennial, sprouts annually from a woody rootstock and can reach a flowering height of more than one meter. The leaves are normally concentrated at the base and is hairy. However the leaves are almost stalkless and that means it blends very well when interplanted with grasses. It occurs quite often in swampy areas.
Interplant Cephalaria zeyheriana with grasses and other Grassland species for the best effect. It prefers a damp spot. The flowering period is quite long.
