Plant Description

Cineraria saxifraga is a rounded perennial shrublet that can reach a height of 200 - 300mm and a spread of about 400mm. It has lovely light green, hairless leaves. It bears masses of small bright yellow daisy-like flowers during Spring and Autumn and sometimes during summer.

Cineraria saxifraga is ideal for a mixed border or as an edging plant and can be planted in a rockery. It is often found as a groundcover, planted in groups and prefers full sun to semi-shade. It can be used to drape over terraced wall and is excellent in containers, window boxes or hanging baskets. The lovely yellow flowers attracts butterflies and other pollinating insects to the garden.
