Ctenium concinnum, a densely, tufted grass bears most of its leaves near the base. Initially the inflorescence is straight with all the seeds on one side, but the seed matures it produces the very distinct curl that makes it so attractive.

Ctenium concinnum does well in a garden, partly due to its small size. Do not overwater.
