Plant Description

Dianthus basuticus is a small perennial herb that reaches heights up to 250mm. It has a woody rootstock with narrow grasslike leaves about 15-120mm long and white to pink flowers about 20-30mm in diameter borne on stalks about 100-250mm long between October and April.

Dianthus basuticus' flowers are scented and it makes for a beautiful specimen in a mixed border or rockery.
