Diascia barberae is a tufted perennial herb that can reach heights between 200-500mm large. It has heart shaped leaves above with toothed margins, sharp tips and short stalks. During summer and autumn it bears loose spikes of pink flowers about 10x20mm large with yellow-spotted throats and downward pointing spurs.
Diascia barberae is ideal for a mixed border among more structured plants or when mass planted next to a walkway or planted in pots. It is fairly short-lived but seeds itself.
