Dierama mossi is the only hare-bell that occurs in Gauteng. The plant is quite small and prefers a wet spot. The pendulous flowers make a stunning display in summer.
Plant Description

Dierama mossi is the only hare-bell that occurs naturally in Gauteng. The plant is quite small and prefers a sunny, wet spot. The flowers are very showy. It grows amongst grasses in its natural habitat and can tolerate dry conditions for short periods.

Like all Dieramas, the bulbs of Dierama mossi should be left undisturbed for at east five years before splitting.
