Plant Description

Digitaria eriantha is a hardy, evergreen tall grass. It is a bright green grass with long flowering stems tipped with a seed head with long fingers of seeds arranged in a whorl . When it seeds it attracts a multitude of small birds.

Digitaria eriantha can tolerate quite wet conditions. As with all grasses it should be cut back severely at least once a year in late winter.
