Eucomis comosa is a very hardy, deciduous, bulbous plant with a rosette of attractive, broad, strap-like leaves with a pinkish cast. Prefers a sunny spot.
Plant Description

Eucomis comosa is a  very hardy, deciduous, bulbous plant with a rosette of attractive, broad, strap-like leaves with a pinkish cast. The spikes of sweetly scented, creamy-white or pink flowers with attractive purple ovaries are borne from October to February.

Eucomis comosa grows best in full sun in either damp or dry spots. It is an excellent garden plant and is also used in traditional medicine.
